It was late on a Thursday night when.........
Yes, it is now 11pm on Thursday and yet again I have made the enormous decision to go a-blogging.
It is the start of a new Financial Year for the company I work for, Sun Microsystems.
As usual there is a significant sounding of trumpets and celebration as the company recognises successful achievements by the sales organisation.
For myself, another year gone by (blurr) and another Q1 of planning and wondering how I can win a popularity contest for next year.............
I have a friend at my customer site who is seriously into all things techno-geeek. Happily for him it was his Birthday 2 days ago and he tells me he visited my blog. Probably the first non registered visitor my Blog has had. Looks like I fail at marketing - oh well.
I am still attempting to be able to do all of my required work from my "3" mobile. My now trusty A1000 is getting a great workout as my internet browser, email client and messaging platform.
My elder daughter attended an interview for pre-school today! Appears she passed so off she goes next year. Well done to Kiera.
My soccer team again has qualified for the semi-finals in 3rd spot this year.
We have a traditional "dead game" this weekend where a few strange things happen.
Last year, yours truly managed to have a run up at striker which is very unfamiliar territory as I am usually banished to the half way line and no further.
Who knows what the captain, the mighty Bruce, will come up with.
As my dear wife is turning out the lights in the house, I am taking this as a hint to get some sleep as work beckons again. At least it is Friday and am looking forward to a lunch with a mate of mine, Shane. Perhaps Tepenyaki...........yum.
